Hello Fatshionistas,
I know its been awhile, but what can I say except "time flies whether you're having fun or not". I've still being doing the school thing and the shopaholic thing. I'm currently working on my Ed. Specialist degree at THE Alabama State University and proudly I can say I don't have too much longer in this program. Being the Gemini that I am, of course I'm presently trying to decide which program I want to enter next, as well as trying to decide if I'm going to stick it out in Alabama or venture someplace else. One thing I can say is, dang it's hot... and the absolute worse thing that could happen when its hot is for your AC to go ca put (is that how you spell it). I will literally die if this thing isn't fixed soon. Other than that, I must say I have missed you guys and gals. Trust and believe though your girl has been shopping non stop since the last time I spoke to you. I have so many great makeup purchases I want you all to see. I cannot wait to post for you what I have....including that ClearCube and IceBox I mentioned in one of my last posts! Didn't I say I HADDDD to have it?? Anyway, talk to you all soon and don't count your girl OUT because I'M BACK!
Until next time,
Ciao Bellas!

I have to have it!
Hello Fellow Fashionistas,
I am like totally excited about all the new makeup I've been purchasing lately. I really can't wait until I can try out every single item, however I have been dealing with a major problem recently. As every other makeup hoarder knows, it's kind of hard to stop buying makeup cold turkey. If you're anything like me, you continue to make purchases and add items to your never ending collection, even though you can't imagine where you'll put it all. It is so hard to stop, but seriously where is all of this makeup going to go? I don't know how you all store your makeup, but right now my present arrangement absolutely isn't working for me anymore. I have makeup everywhere....therefore its kind of hard to get ready to go somewhere when I have to search in literally 10 different places to find a particular lip gloss I want to wear.
That leads me to why I'm venting and what this post is really about. I found the perfect solution to all my makeup storage problems. I am so excited and I cant wait to show you girls what I've found!
Take a look at these beauties...
The first is from a company called Sherrie Blossom and its called the IceBox
The next is called The Clear Cube and you can find it at The Clear Cube
It is a total look alike for the Icebox, however it sells for $350 and has been featured in the bathrooms of all three of the older Kardashian sisters.
I really would like to purchase both of these, as I don't think one will fit all my makeup. However, these will definitely be a splurge item, so I may be saving my coins for awhile. I really love the fact that they are both clear, so I can see what I need without much effort. What do you all think? Will you be adding an Icebox or Clear Cube to your bathroom? Tell me your thoughts

Oh my goodness I can't even begin to explain how much I love it! The only drawback is that it costs $335 and it expected to increase in price, as it will be making its debut in Neiman Marcus soon.

Hello Fashionistas,
I was so happy to find out that Eloquii was having a sale on all of their sweaters. All sweaters are presently priced at $20.12. I think thats a steal! I've been really wanting to get several of them for a long time, so with this sale going I happily bought three of them. Here are the ones I chose....
Tell me what you think..and when you get a chance run on over to Eloquii by The Limited and pick up a few!
Lots of Love,
Candy

New Year, New Me
Hello Fellow Fashionistas,
I am so excited about 2012. I just have some many dreams and aspirations that I want to see come true this year. I'm sure you girls are just as excited as me. The number twelve is such a special number...which further leads me to believe that if you have any desires or ideas that you've always wanted to make a reality...this is the year to do it. Come on ladies, lets do big things this year. God has given us all so many gifts, talents, and abilities...let's use them to the fullest.
On another note, I am excited about my upcoming camera purchase. I am definitely open to any suggestions as to which one I should get. I have my eye on this really cute Nikon 1...but I don't want the reason why I bought this camera is because its cute and white...lol...
It is really my desire to take this blog to another level by really letting you all get to know who I am. This camera is really important for that. Anyhow...thats all for now..please let me know what you think about my camera choice.. Until we meet again...
Much Love and Elephant Hugs,
Candy

Happy New Year.....
Guess what I'm doing for NYE??? Well, first of all I and my lovely daughters went and enjoyed an evening at the nail salon. This is my NYE nail choice... I opted for something that would most fit my personality. I just love hot pink, especially with black and white...they seem to make the color pop....I also like to do that with turquiose...
After the nail salon, the rest of my New Years Eve was happily spent on the inside with my husband and kids. Even though spending the evening dancing away in a beautiful dress and a killer pair of heels sounds exciting, I much prefer to be at home cuddled up with the ones I love. Hopefully you all are spending time with the ones who love you...Until next time..be safe and keep me in my prayers!

Not a resolution, more like a revelation..
I know it's been awhile since I posted, but as I'm sure you all know keeping up a blog is pretty hard during the holidays. Especially when you have a husband, children, finals, and a home to be concerned with. Anyway, I'm back along with a renewed dedication to not only improving and managing my blog more, but also with improving myself physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, and educationally. I must say I am quite optimistic about the upcoming changes I'll be making in my life. First of all, I plan on making my dream of becoming a hairstylist true. This I call Phase 2 of my plan... I also plan on working on opening a hair and makeup salon with one of my besties in the next year or two. That's phase 3.... I plan to find a PhD program to enroll in and commit to, as well as I plan on taking both the real estate and tax classes within the next 6 months... (I know that seems like a lot, but I love school so it wont be so bad)... In case you all are wondering what's Phase 1...well my bestie and I will be entering the world of luxury, couture hair and thus will be selling high end extensions. Hopefully in the next month we will able to offer those services to you all... Please wish me luck and give me your prayers and much needed support!!!!
Anyhow, so I bet you've been wondering what I've been doing with myself lately...Well, besides working on my business ventures..I have been completely obsessed with increasing my makeup and beauty collection...I have been back and forth to MAC, Sephora, and Ulta all week....Lately I have been buying and trying various nail polishes...I must tell you I am absolutely in LOVE with the Essie brand polishes (Thanks to Krissy over at Addicted to All Things Pretty...This week I have been wearing "Chinchilla"...Its looks sort of gray in the bottle but on my hand it become this really nice brownish/purplish neutral that I'm really digging..I'm supposed to go get my nails done tomorrow...but I like it so much that I don't know if I'm ready to take it off...
Last week I wore "Turquoise and Caicos" by Essie...and I tell you I was super excited about this color. So much in fact I went and bought two more bottles because I didn't want to run out. I think this may be one of my "Go To" Blues from now on. Along with my "Teal the Cows Come Home" by OPI...
I bought several more Essie brand polishes, as well as some by OPI, Nicole, and China Glaze...I'll tell you more about those when I get a chance to try them....
