NYE...

I know everyone is looking forward to Christmas Day.  A fun filled day of family, presents, food, drinks, and an overall good time.  I know my babies are definitely looking forward to seeing what Santa has in store for them and I must admit I'm little curious as to what he's bringing me too.  I love the thrill of opening something new and not knowing what it is (even though I gave my husband at least 50 things to choose from) I am already looking beyond Christmas and straight to New Years Eve.  I can't wait to hang out with my girls, dance, have some drinks, and then bring in the new year with all the ones I love.  I'm most looking forward to receiving the dress I ordered from Bloomingdales.  I'm adding that dress to my growing collection of other party dresses I've ordered in the past few months.  I couldn't make up my mind so being the shopaholic I am I didn't see anything wrong with giving myself some options.  You can never have too many party dresses in my mind.  So, tell me what you think?  Which do you like?  And please let me know what you all are wearing to your NYE parties...

In the holiday spirit…

I haven't been in the best of moods lately...I'm really not one of those people who gets a rush out of holiday shopping..I much rather be behind my computer screen quietly hitting "Complete transaction" as I do all my shopping via the web.  However, Christmas is that time of year that sometimes requires that you leave the comfort of your virtual mall and go to the actual one... Other than my frequent visits to MAC, Ulta, DSW, Walmart, and Target I mostly complete my shopping via PC.  I was less than pleased to know that I must leave the comfort of my online world the last several days to complete my holiday shopping... So as I was saying I have been in one terrible mood and I have had an overall "Ba humbug" attitude...and yes it has been a doozy.  I surely feel sorry for my poor husband because it has been he who has been catching the brunt of my fury...and even shopping hasn't seem to help it much...  Well you better believe my dear family was surprisingly elated to find that I woke up in a relatively great mood today and actually decided to put on some makeup!  I even picked out this bright red, sequined top I bought from Lane Bryant several years ago to wear as an homage to my mood.  I am definitely in the Christmas spirit today! Let me say "Happy Holidays"  while the spirit is here...I'll be back to Mrs. Scrooge because tomorrow its back to the Christmas rush.

Fancy Nails...

Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to post anything in the last several days due to obligations at home and school.  I so estatic to finally have the time to make it back to my blog home!  Lately, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what I want to do with my nails.  I had the luxury of getting my brows done today (which is a miracle when you have three little kids to run behind all day), but my nails are definitely in need of some much needed TLC.  They seem to be screaming, "It's our turn now"....So, I've been looking for the perfect design idea.  I must tell you I have been so excited about all the nails trends I've seen lately, especially abstract designs, the ombre trend, and all of the unique twists on the classic French manicure.  Here are a few of my favorite looks.  Please feel free to tell me what you think!

Techie Toy Fun!

I don't know about you all, but I LOVE my technology.  I am a self proclaimed Apple girl so it would only be fitting that I have an iPod, iPhone, and an iPad.....still waiting on the MacBook (hopefully my husband is reading this), but I also have a Dell laptop, Compaq PC, and Kindle Fire....What about you all???  What are your favorite tech toys, the ones owned and the ones you're wishing for??  And what do your toys wear??  How do you protect those gizmos of yours??? My favorite brand currently is the Speck brand cases for both my iPhone and my iPad.  They seem to be the most protective and reliable for me, while they still have a sleek, stylish feel to them.  The worse have been the rhinestone cases.  I love the look, but it seems that I keep losng so many of the stones!  Of course, part of the reason may be because I got it from the kiosk in the mall.  I've seen some higher end ones online though that run anywhere from $120-500. I even spotted a list of the 10 luxury iPhone cases....and believe it or not their most expensive fine was one for 100,000!!  Top 10 Luxury iPhone cases Can you believe that??

My gadgets are currently wearing the following:

PixelSkin by Speck $49.99

Speck Candyshell Case $34.99

New Techie Treats I love:

Juicy Couture $28

Jonathan Alder $28

Kate Spade $40

Ombre Case $180

Ombre gold $190

Kate Spade $40

Blue Flower $190

Marc Jacobs $84.90

Ted Baker $70

Speck iGuy 39.99

Case-Mate $48

Marc Jacobs $48

True Luxury Finds:

Louis Vuitton $1290
Diamond Case $20, 000

Gold Standard $100, 000

As you can tell, there seems to be big business in creating items for our favorite tech toys.  However, do you think it could be going too far???  I do love my gadgets, but sorry not for 100, 000...What about you??

Accessories... Is there any such thing as too many?

Just like animal print, I love accessories.  I think a jewelry box and 2 caboodles full of earrings, bracelets, watches, rings, necklaces, pins, sunglasses, watches, etc could be proof of that.  But I always want more.  Is there something wrong with that??  Should I seek help?   I basically stalk certain stores on a weekly basis just to see what's new.  I really dont think anyone can have too many trinkets.....  They are like the icing on the cake.  I mean think about it, the same outfit has the ability to look 3 completely different ways with the changing of your accessories.   So in a way I think my hubby should really support my obsession of accessories because it could possibly help me save money on more clothes (I said possibly, but not likely, but it could).
