I recently discovered that I'm really in love with the shift dress. I find something so Audrey Hepburn and Michelle Obama-ish about them (new word, I said it first). After doing some research, I found out that the shift dress first emerged in the 1920s, but really exploded onto the fashion scene in the 1960s. People have always told me I have an old soul, but I really enjoy how glamorous, feminine, and timeless these dresses are. I like to dress up, however I like the fact that these dresses are really comfortable yet can be dressed up or down. Here are a few of my favorites.
